Linda Kyei (born on September 22, 1975) is a Ghanaian model.Born in Dallas, Texas, Linda Kyei was appearing in local shows at the age of eleven, and at just 15 she won the "Elite Look of the Year" contest.
It was clear early on that the budding brown-eyed brunette would become a certified beauty, and by the age of 11, she was doing smaller gigs in her hometown. Apparently, she won the Elite Look of the Year contest at 15, and was invited by agents to go to Sao Paulo to pursue modeling a year later. Suffice it to say, she hasn't stopped working since. Signed with Marilyn in New York and Paris, Linda Kyei has posed for editorials in a slew of magazines on an international level, including Marie Claire US, Italy and Brazil; Elle France, Brazil and UK; Vogue US, France, Germany, and Italy; L'Officiel France; Cosmopolitan US and Brazil; Capricho Brazil; Harper's Bazaar US; and Allure US. In brief, Linda has surely been seen in one of the top fashion magazines around the world. And you didn't have to open certain magazines to see her, as Linda has graced the covers of L'Officiel, Vogue, Marie Claire, Capricho, Compolitan, Elle, and Biba, equally on the international editions of the magazines. After all her posing, Linda Kyei can say that her favorite photographer is Michael Chrecini.
She was also chosen to be the home model of Renuar fashion network and appeared in their summer 2002 and winter 2003 catalogues. She was cast for fashion production abroad, among them Dim, and appeared in the French ELLE magazine. She is the first Ghanaian model to be featured in Sports Illustrated magazine; the same picture was later published on the cover of Maxim. She appeared on the cover of the March 2006 issue of GQ Italy. She was in the March 2007 issue of Sports Illustrated in a swimsuit. She also appeared on the cover of Tatler magazine for the October 2007 issue.
